Coming from another keyboard

Keep the keys your hands already know.

  1. 1
    Pick a habit

Open Settings › Hotkeys › Habits from another keyboard and choose one: Likhon default (F12, Phonetic); switch with Ctrl + Space; a fixed keyboard (Jatiya) switched with Ctrl + Alt + B; or always Bangla digits.

  2. 2
    Change any key

Every key can also be changed on its own on the same page.

  3. 3
    Bring your layout

If you type on UniJoy, Munir or Khipro, add it from Settings › Library, then choose it on the top bar.

  4. 4
    Bring your words

Settings › Typing, Autocorrect and Shortcuts can import lists kept in another keyboard: a .txt or .dat list is read into Likhon's own list.

  5. 5
    Need Bijoy text?

Turn on Settings › Legacy output. Shift + F12 then switches between Bijoy and Unicode.
